Letter 1

Dear Sir:

I am one of the proud owners of your Walking Sprinklers, Model B3. I have had your sprinkler for the past 20 years without any problem. This sprinkler was a gift from my uncle, who retired to Florida.

Last week, my wife, walking backwards, tripped over my sprinkler and broke it at the “tee”. I have disassembled the entire sprinkler and require the following new parts:

#44-gasket washer
#45-plug bolt
Upper oilite impeller bushing
Impeller shaft
Stainless steel driving screw
Lower oilite impeller bushing
Gasket between surfaces
Thrust bearing
Gasket for cover plates
Screws for cover plates, set of 4

I want to thank you for your excellent product. I have recommended this sprinkler to my neighbors, but your product just doesn’t seem to be around this area now. It must have been available here years ago because my uncle purchased this sprinkler from you, perhaps (I am guessing, sometime in the early ‘70s). I know that there are “cheaper” versions available, but none can compare to the longevity of your product. I have looked in many garden supply stores and nurseries in my area and I cannot find this particular sprinkler. I can only find sprinklers that look like they may just make one season. Please get your salespeople involved in this locality. We need a company, such as yours, whom we can rely on—a company who has stood behind its products for many years. I know my local. Why can’t you advertise and show you “best” product? My neighbors and I are looking forward to it.

Very truly yours
